Clinic Details:For decades, Total Health Care has cared for families at every life stage. Our ten health centers are located in the heart of Baltimore City and surrounding areas. Many Total Health Care staff members live in the area and like to care for their own families and neighbors. Total Health Care is one of Maryland’s largest minority-run, nonprofit, tax-exempt community health centers. This Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) came from the 1989 merger of Constant Care Community Health Center, Inc. (founded in 1968) and the West Baltimore Community Health Care Corporation (1972). From 1997-2001, Total Health Care was a partner with CarePartners, a Managed Care Organization (MCO). In 2016, Tuerk House became a subsidiary of Total Health Care enabling us to collectively provide patient-centered care in areas of healing, health and hope. For nearly 50 years, Total Health Care has provided medical care in Baltimore. By working with community and national healthcare groups, we continue to grow services and programs to better the lives of our patients. Total Health Care, Inc. is paid for in part by local, state and federal government agencies.

Details: In Fall of 2011, the Arundel House of Hope opened the first free standing (not hospital affiliated) completely free medical clinic in Anne Arundel County. The clinic will offer services to the County’s uninsured through voluntary partnerships with doctors from Baltimore Washington Medical Center and other volunteer physicians from the community. The goal of the clinic is to provide free, comprehensive medical care to those in the most need.
Details: The AAMC Community Clinics are doctor’s offices which provide low cost medical care. The Clinics serve patients who are uninsured (self-pay) or have coverage with Medical Assistance, Amerigroup, Priority Partners, United Healthcare Community and State(Americhoice), PAC (primary adult care), and The REACH program. "Self pay" patients are charged for services based on their income. A financial advisor at the health center will help patients through the process and determine fees before the appointment. Discounted specialty care also is available under these programs and for self-pay individuals. The AAMC Community Clinics are not for individuals with commercial insurance.
