Today, we provide care and services in Ames, Marshalltown and Des Moines. PHC has three dental clinics, seven medical clinics and four satellite clinics across these communities. Our free clinic was created using a network of dedicated, talented medical professionals, who volunteer their time to serve those who are unable to attain and maintain quality, affordable health care. Our hope is to provide essential minimal health assistance to children and families in need.
Details: Proteus provides health care services to migrant and farmworkers located in Iowa. Patients are seen at mobile clinics, in-house clinics and on an individual basis by a Proteus contracted licensed medical professional. Proteus uses a sliding fee schedule based on income for health services.
