With the help of over 400 professional and medical volunteers, Caridad Center provides comprehensive health and dental services to the uninsured, working poor families of Palm Beach County, Florida. Space Coast Volunteers in Medicine is a fully approved 501(c)3 comprised of dedicated health care providers and community professionals who have joined together to open a free medical, chiropractic and dental clinic to serve the uninsured of Brevard County and the Space Coast. Our 'Culture of Caring' begins with a special group of people including doctors, dentists and staff who volunteer their time to improve the 'Quality of Life' of the uninsured in our community. Eligibility Requirements for receiving free Medical/Dental/Chiropractic/Wellness Services: Be a resident of Brevard County, Florida for at least 6 months; At least 19 years of age, less than 65 years of age; Have no health insurance, of any kind, public or private. No Medicaid clients accepted; Annual household income must be at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level for the size of your household.

Senior Friendship Centers is a pioneer nationally in the delivery of health care to adults age 50 and older, who have limited incomes or are uninsured. Our clinics are staffed by retired and volunteer physicians, dentists, pharmacists, nurses and health professionals who enjoy practicing for the sheer love of medicine. The Centers for Healthy Aging serve 4,000 patients annually at all locations, including close to 18,000 visits annually.

Details: Since 2008, the UHI CommunityCare Clinic has provided free primary health care to low-income, uninsured residents of South Florida by means of office visits, lab work, x-rays, and specialty referrals. The Clinic, a volunteer driven non-profit, medical facility, provides primary health care at no cost to those who do not qualify for government assistance, are uninsured, and cannot afford private medical care. The majority of the patients at the Clinic are hardworking people without any public healthcare or medical insurances. Their income excludes them from receiving government assistance, yet prohibits them from affording private healthcare or insurance. Without the help of the UHI CommunityCare Clinic, these uninsured residents would turn to emergency rooms for non-emergent care, at a great cost to themselves and the healthcare system. To be eligible, you must: Have no insurance coverage, including Medicare/Medicaid, No VA benefits, No County Social Service card, Fill out the income verification sheet, Meet the Income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level test, For every visit to the clinic, fill out the Florida acknowledgement form (This needs to? filled out on the premises).
