The first Newark School-Based Health Centers were opened on January 2, 2006, at George Washington Carver, Quitman, Barringer, and Malcolm X Shabazz Schools. Our Newark School-Based Health Centers are there for the benefit of the entire community. You do not have to be a student or a family member of a student to use the services of the health center.
