One is located at the Edward Williams School and the other is located at the Mount Vernon High School. Both are located in Mount Vernon, where the students receive a full range of pediatric health services. It is our hope to extend the school-based health program and provide access to much needed health care services to other students in the city.

  • Details: The mobile health partnership between ArchCare and HRHCare strives to reduce health disparities by providing high-quality, cost-effective health care to low-income individuals, including migrant farmworkers, in the Hudson Valley. The goal is to improve access to care by bringing it directly to those who often must forego essential medical services due to lack of transportation, limited funds or the inability to leave work without jeopardizing their livelihoods. The new Mobile Health Center will travel throughout the lower Hudson Valley, visiting farms, community agencies, parishes and faith communities, and other locations to deliver care, provide health education and offer information about community resources. The Mobile Health Center is made possible by a generous grant from ArchCare, the healthcare system of the Archdiocese of New York, and is being staffed and operated by HRHCare Community Health.

The Health Center’s mission is to provide quality, primary, comprehensive, and affordable health care to the medically underserved residents of the community. The Center was first accredited in 1998 by the Joint Commission of Accreditation of Health Care Organization and currently maintains its Joint Commission status. Medicaid and Medicare insurances are accepted in addition to most private insurances. A sliding fee scale is available for those who are uninsured; however, no one is refused services due to their inability to pay. The Center is staffed with bilingual professional and support staff.
