The center offers care coordination and contact with the recovery community as part of treatment, as well as other local community resources. It also offers special services for pregnant women. People can access treatment through self-referral, referral by a primary care provider, follow-up after a hospitalization or can just walk in. The center works with low-income patients and commercial insurance. This center is operated by Family Health Center of Marshfield, Inc. (FHC). FHC is a federal and state funded community health center dedicated to reducing health disparities, improving access to high quality health care services for the underserved and enhancing community health. FHC helps patients with doctor visits, prescription drugs, dental care and more. Ladysmith Alcohol and Drug Recovery Center is accredited by The Joint Commission.

    • Details: The 8,840-square-foot, dental facility in downtown Ladysmith includes 17 operatory rooms; a dental lab; sterilization rooms; consultation rooms; digital X-rays; panoramic X-ray equipment and photo labs; business office; and reception and patient waiting area. Ladysmith Dental Center was established November 1, 2002 when Family Health Center of Marshfield, Inc. acquired the Ladysmith dental practice of Blane Christman, D.D.S. and Associates. The center was made possible through a partnership between these entities as well as the State Department of Health and Family Services and federal and state agencies.
