- Details: The Good Neighbor Clinic of Sauk Prairie (GNC) was founded in 1999 by Dr. Haakon Carlson, with the establishment of a Board of Directors. It opened to clients in November of that year with the support of local physicians and over 50 volunteers. The GNC is a not-for-profit corporation with 501©(3) tax-exempt status. Donations to the clinic are tax-deductible and are used for direct services to patients.
