Clinic Details:By the Way Medical Mission-Free Clinic has been established for the residents of Fairfield County who are uninsured or under-insured and in need of free episodic health care. Listening to the concerns of the community has served as the impetus to organize health care professionals who are like-minded people with a heart to serve those in need. By the Way is a neighborhood-based, comprehensive ministry working within the Lancaster community to offer hope to those in despair. Staffed by medical professionals as a non-profit clinic providing medical exams, prescription assistance, outpatient testing, social services, and nursing follow up to those who cannot afford conventional health care, By the Way is founded through the cooperation of members from over six area churches.
Services:Medication assistance, Non-emergency or non-critical care, Counseling for long term health problems, Minimal labs such as rapid strep tests, pregnancy tests, finger stick blood sugar tests
Details: Fairfield Community Health Center began operating as a community health center in 2009. FCHC provides comprehensive primary health care services for the insured, uninsured and/or underinsured residents of Fairfield County, Ohio. We are a Federally Qualified Health Center that will accept uninsured individuals as well as Medicaid, Medicare and Insurance. If you do not have health insurance we will provide you with a sliding fee with proof of income. We also have individuals that can assist you with enrolling in health insurance or Medicaid if you qualify. We look forward to serving you with your healthcare needs. Services are provided to people of all ages, and no one is denied access to care due to race, ethnicity, and/or ability to pay. FCHC provides behavioral and primary care, GYN and pediatric services to patients. Additionally, FCHC patients have access to Dental, Behavioral Health, Pharmacy services and have support provided with case management, patient education and outreach activities. Operating under Section 330 of the Public Health Service Act, FCHC serves a Medically Underserved Population (MUP). FCHC is governed by Board of Directors composed of at least 51% of users of the services of FCHC.
Details: Since 1966 Family Health Services of East Central Ohio has been committed to serving the community. Throughout the agency's history education has always been a cornerstone of our service. Patients will receive one-on-one education relating to contraception, reproductive health, and sexually transmitted infections. We also provide education about healthy relationships, personal safety, wellness issues such as sexual assault,human trafficking and domestic violence.
