The Water’s Edge Skilled Nursing Care Center is a Medicare and Medicaid certified, skilled nursing facility licensed by the State of Wisconsin. Our 50 room Care Center is connected to the Hayward Area Memorial Hospital and medical clinics. It offers private suites consisting of a bedroom, sitting area and private bath. Water’s Edge has dining areas, visiting spaces, exercise room, bathing spa and landscaped courtyards which are available to everyone. A chapel, salon and bistro complete the complex. Group and individual activities including social, religious, recreational and educational programs are offered. Computers and internet access are available. Hayward area clergy hold regular services in the Chapel and make individual visits on request. Registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants provide care 24-hours a day. Residents can receive physical, occupational, speech or respiratory therapy services in the building. A 24-hour physician staffed emergency room is located in the hospital should a medical emergency occur.
