The Refuge Clinic operates as an expression of Christ and seeks to connect the hurting to health. We recognize that every life has infinite value and worth and aim to make true health obtainable physically, spiritually, and mentally for those we serve. Refuge Ministries, Inc. was identified as a non-profit in 2007 with a vision to provide medical and dental care to the uninsured in Fayette and Jessamine Counties. We have now now served over 3500 patients amounting to over $8,000,000 in free care to the community. What started as a vision to provide basic medical and dental care has now expanded to include comprehensive primary medical care, oral surgery, physical therapy, diabetes education, nutrition counseling, gynecological care, psychiatric care, and counseling to both the uninsured and underinsured in our communities.
