The Adult Free Clinic at UHS Primary Care Binghamton continues the longstanding tradition of the former SUNY Upstate Medical Center Dr. Garabed A. Fattal Community Free Clinic which has now been relocated the UHS Primary Care - Binghamton. Our clinic treats adult (ages 18 and older) patients who are unable to obtain medical insurance or otherwise afford their medical care. All patients are screened for eligibility as, in some cases, our counselors can assist patients in obtaining medical insurance as well. Patients are cared for by licensed, board-certified internists as well as UHS Internal Medicine resident physicians and SUNY Upstate medical students in training under direct supervision. Records are kept in our secure, state-of-the-art Epic electronic health record. Services Offered Patients may be seen for general physical exams, wellness screenings, vaccinations, treatment for chronic conditions, both men’s and women’s health concerns, limited specialty referrals, medication management, as well as for some labs and imaging tests. Prescription medications are available at the neighboring UHS Pharmacy Summit Building based on our cost-free supply list. Patients must be screened for eligibility by calling (607) 762-3281. Walk-Ins are welcome for established patients.
