The UCSF Student-run Homeless Clinic is comprised of UCSF medical students, medical residents, and physicians, as well as undergraduate volunteers from USF. We have served a diverse group of homeless and transiently-housed people in San Francisco since 1992. The clinic is located in the Multi-Service Center South, a shelter run by the St. Vincent De Paul Society of San Francisco, and serves shelter residents there from 6-9pm on most Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Care is provided by a team of first and second-year medical students together with a UCSF physician or resident. Services provided include urgent care, TB testing, dermatological care on some clinic days, and community resource referrals.
