The Mission Lexington Free Dental Clinic began in June of 2006 and the Mission Lexington Free Medical Clinic was launched in December of 2008.  Faith Pharmacy was founded in 1999 joined Mission Lexington in 2015. The Mission Lexington Free Vision Clinic began dispensing free prescription eyeglasses with examinations in 2017. When Mission Lexington began, 13% of the population in Fayette County was not covered by health insurance. Over 33,000 people lived without access to affordable health care. Each year for the past 11 years Mission Lexington has almost doubled the amount of patient visits it has been able to provide to Lexington's most vulnerable residents. Behind every statistic there is a moving story, like George, who lost his job because of the condition of his teeth, but was able to get his job back because of the restorative work of the Mission Lexington Dental Clinic.
