Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinics (SBNC) has been a leader in community health since 1998, when Isla Vista Health Projects, Carrillo Medical Clinic, and Westside Medical Clinic joined forces. Our founding mission to provide healthcare services for all regardless of ability to pay was predicated on the philosophy that obtaining quality medical and dental care is a fundamental right for all people. This conviction was embraced by the founding doctors, and business and community leaders, they knew the lack of access to quality healthcare for all would have to be addressed by a unified effort.
