Plaquemines Parish residents rely on Dr. Patrick Johnson and Nurse Practitioner Dani Prest at the Belle Chasse Community Health Center for their preventive and diagnostic care. Located along Highway 23 in Belle Chasse, the clinic offers same day appointments and convenient hours of operation. We offer patients Adult and Pediatric Primary Care, Behavioral Health services and even free diabetes education classes. As a patient of the Belle Chasse Community Health Center, you will have access to discounted prescription medications through the federal 340B program. This means that you can get your prescriptions filled at most local pharmacies and save money. We accept most commercial insurances, Medicaid and Medicare. If you are uninsured, you won’t be turned away for service. You can still see a provider by utilizing our sliding fee scale. This means that the cost of your visit will be based off your household size and income. For some patients, this means seeing a doctor for as little as fifteen dollars. Patients can also apply for Medicaid applications at the clinic during regular business hours. The Belle Chasse Community Health Center is part of the Access Health Louisiana Network, the largest network of Federally Qualified Health Centers in Louisiana.
