Clinic Details:We are a private-nonprofit Community Health Center organization with six clinics and a mobile unit in north Mississippi. We are partially funded through HRSA (Section 330 U.S. Public Health). We are a Federal Qualified Health Center and all of our clinics are FTCA deemed facilities. We exist to give the entire community access to healthcare. Our focus is on those in the community who need care the most and yet have the least access.
Details: Delta Health Center, Inc. (DHC) is the first community health center of its kind. Also, it’s the first Federally Qualified Community Health Center (FQHC) in the United States. DHC is a non-profit organization that is located in historic Mound Bayou, Mississippi, where it opened its doors in 1965. At Delta Health Center, we continue to build a world class primary health care system committed to caring for vulnerable populations from newborns to the elderly. DHC also support those who want to stay fit and to those with chronic health problems with our main focus being health. We have helped generations of families to live healthy and stay healthy.
Details: The Good Samaritan Medical Clinic of Lowndes County, a nonprofit organization, provides free primary health care, health-related information and referral to the working poor of Lowndes County. Utilizing volunteers, professional and lay resources, The Good Samaritan Clinic's mission is to provide primary medical care in a non-judgmental, Christian atmosphere.
Details: The Center for pregnancy Choices serves as an extension of the body of Christ by meeting the needs of individuals facing unplanned pregnancies to help them avoid the trauma of abortion. Our Purpose is to empower individuals to choose life – life for the unborn, a life of purity and holiness, and eternal life by choosing to accept Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior.
Details: Life Choices Pregnancy Care Center is a non-profit organization that seeks to minister to individuals experiencing an unexpected pregnancy through free pregnancy tests, peer counseling, abstinence education, STD education, post-abortion support, expectant Mom and Dad classes and other practical help in a confidential, Christian environment. Because we know that true lifestyle changes cannot occur apart from new life in Christ, peer counselors earnestly seek to share the Gospel with each person that comes to us for help.
Details: The CPC Metro area is a nonprofit with medical clinics that are here to listen, encourage and equip those facing pregnancy decisions. We have been serving the Jackson Metro area for over 30 years and have served over 20,000 women in our community. The CPC is a licensed medical clinic that offers free services and physical support for both mother and child. The CPC is operated with individual, sensitive, and confidential care. Our staff is trained in integrity and procedural professionality. We care passionately about education regarding all the choices a woman who is facing a crisis pregnancy has. We trust women to make informed decisions about their pregnancies when given a full range of accurate information and resources concerning abortion, adoption, and parenting. We walk alongside women, offering hope and compassion from the first pregnancy test to long after birth. Our mission is to protect the most vulnerable in our community and meet women exactly where they are with generosity and gentleness, not judgement. The entire staff of the CPC pours reassurance, hope, kindness, and the love of Christ into the life of every woman to walks through our doors. Details: The Antone Tannehill Good Samaritan Free Clinic is a non-profit organization whose mission is to marshal volunteer lay and professional resources to provide high quality medical, dental, and pharmaceutical care at no cost to the eligible working uninsured and temporarily unemployed residents of Lee County Mississippi.
Details: The Jackson Free Clinic (JFC) is run by medical students at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson as well as volunteer physicians from the local community. It offers non-emergency medical care, including evaluation, testing, prescription drugs and education, to individuals who cannot pay. Staffing for our clinic is solely on a volunteer basis. The student-run Jackson Free Clinic was created to increase access to health care and assist in restoring health and employment in an underserved population. We focus on major health care issues affecting under-served individuals by providing high quality and caring treatment and education for prevention of acute and chronic medical conditions. Through our efforts, we strive to decrease the emotional and financial burden on the uninsured and society.
Details: The Gulf Coast Mental Health Center has always subscribed to the philosophy that it has as its responsibility the mental health of every citizen within the four-county catchment area. Recognizing that individual needs vary and that they collectively cover a wide spectrum, the Center has tried to keep the delivery capability of the various services consistent with community needs and to respond to these needs in the most responsible and effective ways possible.
Details: Volunteers In Medicine Gautier, a non profit organization, is part of a national alliance of free clinics working throughout the country for the working uninsured. The Volunteers in Medicine Gautier Medical Clinic was established to provide free medical services to uninsured individuals and families, who would otherwise be unable to afford them. The Clinic is made possible by the generous commitment of nearly 100 lay and professional volunteers who contribute their time and skills to help others. We are partnered with Singing River Health System and Abundant Life Christian Center in order to best meet the physical and spiritual needs of our patients.
