As a non-profit with a sliding scale, we have the unique ability to give care to people who are uninsured or underinsured. Our services include obstetrics, gynecology, children’s dentistry and pediatrics among other things. Our staff of pediatric physicians, gynecologists, dentists and physicians is committed to providing top-notch health services to the people in Portage. Our sliding scale bases healthcare costs on income for those patients who don’t have medical insurance. Everyone is served at North Shore Health Centers regardless of sex, age, religion, race or ability to pay. North Shore’s Stacy McKay Center can take both scheduled and walk-in appointments. We offer family practice care, pediatrics, dental work, free pregnancy testing, $20 flu shots and we have a teen clinic. Every location within the North Shore Health Center network employs licensed and board certified practitioners, community outreach and in-reach workers. We make it a point to have high-quality patient care and hope to be ranked among the best community health centers in the country.
