  • Clinic Details: The Fremont Wellness Center opened its doors in 2000. At the Fremont Wellness Center, we use an integrated care model to provide holistic comprehensive support for our patients. We serve current students at Fremont High School and recent graduates up to age 21. We provide medical services including reproductive health, prevention and treatment of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), sports physicals, and immunizations. Patients are also seen by a clinical health educator who conducts one-on-one appointments that cover issues ranging from sexual health to nutrition. In addition, we offer behavioral health services to students through an onsite behavioral health specialist. We also support community health education through the Fremont Youth Wellness Advisory Board (YWAB), a group comprised of peer health educators who are passionate about changing and improving the health of their school community.

    • Details: La Clínica’s HIV prevention department, Together Reaching Users Combating HIV and AIDS (TRUCHA), has been delivering HIV testing, outreach, and prevention services for over 25 years. TRUCHA was established 25+ years ago to respond to the threat of HIV in the Latinx community, especially for those most vulnerable, such as the jornaleros (day laborers). Since then, TRUCHA has grown and undergone many changes.
