- Clinic Details: Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) San Diego is a nonprofit medical clinic serving low-income, uninsured adults living in the East region of San Diego County, California. We care for people who do not qualify or cannot afford the ACA and have no insurance. We do this by engaging volunteer doctors, nurses, therapists, support staff, interpreters and other community members who have a passion for our mission and demonstrate the “Culture of Caring” on which the VIM Clinic was founded.
