About this clinic

If taking time off from work to bring your child to a doctor’s appointment is sometimes challenging, we have your answer. Our Mobile Medical & Dental Unit will come to your child. Our mobile unit has all the necessary equipment to provide high-quality care for your little ones. We offer primary care, immunizations, physicals and more. We partner with local schools and organizations to schedule specific days that our mobile medical & dental unit is accessible to the students and clients they serve. We work closely with school health technicians to ensure your child is current on his or her vaccinations. Think of our mobile unit as parents' helpers. We know when your child gets sick everyone’s schedule is disrupted. From taking off work, to trying (many times unsuccessfully) to schedule a same-day appointment with your regular pediatrician, to kids missing school… we hope to reduce time away from activities, school and work. We don’t want to replace your pediatrician, we simply want to save you time and get your child healthy, quicker. If your child does not have a pediatrician, we can work to connect you with one of our locations closests to you. Our goal is help keep your precious cargo healthy. To do so, we aim to have every child signed up to receive services from The Family Health Centers of Georgia's Mobile Medical & Dental Unit. Parents/Guardians simply complete our Mobile Medical & Dental Unit Patient Registration Form and sign an Authorization to Treat in the Absence or a Parent/Guardian Form. We keep your forms on record. We work with schools and our partners to notify you when we are providing services at your child's school or supporting organization. We know our unit is absolutely top-notch. It is a 41 foot state-of-the-art vehicle. The Commissioner of the Joint Commission, the agency from which we are accredited, has even boasted that he’s, “never been on a mobile unit as well-kept as FHCGA’s.” That’s a ringing endorsement that makes us proud.
