Health Partnership Clinic was founded in 1992 to provide access care for low-income, uninsured residents of Johnson County. With our expansion into Miami County, we have created three locations to serve patients: Overland Park, Olathe, and Paola. HPC has also expanded to accept all individuals regardless of ability to pay or insurance status. One thing that has not changed about HPC is our focus on creating partnerships to help meet community needs. With the help of over 60 health care volunteers, five community hospitals and numerous health and social service organizations, our employed staff continues to increase the numbers of patients we care for and the variety of services provided. With services such as primary and specialty medical care, dental care, outreach services and by promoting health education and wellness, we can help treat and prevent many health problems that we all face today.

JayDoc Free Clinic has served approximately 2,000 patients per year since its 2003 launch. The student-run clinic provides non-emergency urgent and preventative care to the uninsured and underinsured populations of Greater Kansas City. JayDoc exists to provide quality health care to the uninsured and under-insured populations of Greater Kansas City while creating invaluable opportunities for University of Kansas med students to apply their world-class medical education in service to the community. We address linguistic, cultural, and financial barriers to health care across the Greater Kansas City region by providing primary care services with a focus on urgent care and preventative education at no charge, integrated with on-site language interpretation. Open to all, the clinic specifically targets indigent, Hispanic, uninsured, and underinsured populations in Greater Kansas City.


Remarks: The general clinic is open Mondays and Wednesdays from 5-9 p.m. We offer specialty clinics on Tuesdays from 5-9 p.m. for patients who receive referrals from our general clinic.

Details: The Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas is a federally qualified patient-centered health center dedicated to providing quality health care to everyone regardless of their ability to pay. Originally opened by Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center (now Via Christi Hospital Pittsburg) as an extension of its mission, it is now a patient-owned and operated organization serving more than 20,000 children and adults annually. The Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas employs more than 200 professionals and support staff at six clinic sites in Crawford, Cherokee, Montgomery and Allen counties. The Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas is governed by a 15-member Board of Directors which includes patients and community representatives. Medicare, Medicaid, HealthWave and private insurance are accepted. Discounted services are available for those meeting financial assistance guidlines. No-one is refused care due to inability to pay.
