Details: La Maestra Community Health Centers (LMCHC) is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) and a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). For the past 24 years, LMCHC has provided culturally and linguisticallycompetent primary care, specialty services including behavioral and mental health, chronic disease management and essential support services to men, women and children in San Diego’s most culturally diverse and lowest income communities. Services are provided at four medical clinics, seven dental sites, three school-based health centers, and a mobile medical unit. LMCHC’s main health center is located in City Heights, a community that is home to more than 90,000 residents, many of whom are recently settled refugees and immigrants from more than 60 countries with unique health and well-being needs. Additional health center locations include the underserved communities of El Cajon, National City and Lemon Grove, where the majority of patients are also refugees and immigrants in need of affordable, quality health care and social services.
Details: Located in the culturally diverse North Park community, North Park Family Health Center is one of our largest clinics, providing a wide range of comprehensive health care services, including breast and cervical cancer screenings, managed care for diabetes and asthma and routine testing for HIV and hepatitis.

Details: Mid-City Community Clinic is a non-profit, family-oriented, community health center, established in 1974. Our mission is to deliver high-quality medical and mental health services to all families in San Diego County. We have special expertise in delivering care to low-income families in multi-cultural communities. The clinic delivers care in several languages, through the use of specially trained translators. These languages currently include English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Lao, Hmong, and French. The services we provide include: Adult Medicine, Prenatal Care, Women’s Health Care, Men’s Health Care, Mental Health Services, Preventive Medicine, Reproductive Health Care, Diabetes Care Programs, and Urgent Care. Our Diabetes Care Program offers on-site educators, with classes in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese. The clinic tests for and treats sexually transmitted diseases. These services are provided with complete confidentiality. All physicians and nurse practitioners are licensed, and Board certified. Their certifications are in Family Medicine, Preventive Medicine, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Allergy Immunology, and Psychiatry.

Details: Mid-City Community Clinic Pediatrics opened its doors in October, 2003 and delivers medical and mental health care to thousands of children in the City Heights community. The clinic facility includes eleven exam rooms, treatment rooms, offers well child care, pediatric and adolescent medicine, urgent care, literacy education, asthma care, health education, developmental and behavioral pediatrics and immunizations. The facility is co-located with other agencies that offer additional services such as; Public Health Nurse services (by the County of San Diego), Dental Care (by La Maestra Family Health Center) and after hours Urgent Care & Radiology services (by Rady Children’s Hospital).The clinic is linked closely to community agencies and public schools.
