      The Wellness Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Dallas County, and incorporated in the State of Texas. Our mission is to provide health care and health-related education to low income families unable to access mainstream health care. Located in the northeast sector of Grand Prairie, the Wellness Center operates within a federally designated Medically Underserved Area (“MUA”). Our patients include residents from both Dallas and Tarrant Counties, and patients typically reside in 75050 zip code. Our purpose is to provide the highest quality treatment possible in a kind and compassionate manner—preserving the dignity of each individual without regard to economic or social status. Wellness Center patients include residents from both Dallas County (84%) and Tarrant County (16%) and are screened for eligibility based on income and residency. All applicants must be residents of Grand Prairie and be members of a family with family income at or below 125% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. For dental care only, applicants are accepted who are members of a family with family income at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
