About this clinic

Caring Hands Healthcare Centers, Inc. is a non-profit, 501 (c)3 organization that was founded July 1, 2005 and was incorporated September 22, 2005. Our organization was formed directly out of the need of a community for affordable health care. The service area is not only underserved, it has a large low income population and a large population without health insurance. According to the US Census Bureau, 42% of the service area is below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). Most of these individuals are the working poor and cannot afford healthcare for themselves and their families. In any community, there is no force more powerful than setting sights on providing for the needs of its residents - in this case, quality health care at a cost people can afford so their healthcare needs do not have to go unmet. Our facility provides Dental, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Women’s Health, Pediatrics, Preventative Medicine, Chronic Disease management services to the uninsured and underinsured of the community with fees based on a sliding scale fee according to the patients’ income. No patient in urgent need of care is turned away due to inability to pay.
