About this clinic

This high school health center provides affordable, confidential, convenient, youth-centered primary and preventative health care for students who might otherwise not receive care. A family nurse practitioner and licensed clinical social worker provide primary medical and psychosocial services to all students whose parents have submitted signed consent forms. For parents or guardians, health care provided at school means they miss fewer days of work. For students, on-site health care can mean fewer missed days of school and decreased incidence of pregnancy, sexually transmitted disease, and substance abuse. The TCA Health satellite center also is sponsored by the Illinois Department of Human Services’ Bureau of Primary Health Care and Carver Military Academy.
