About this clinic

Crossroads Healthcare Clinic is a federally funded health care program. We provide primary medical care, mental health services, and substance abuse services to individuals and families who are currently homeless. We can also treat a small percentage of low-income individuals and families who are housed. In addition to our brick-and-mortar facility, we have a mobile clinic for the treatment and referral of uncomplicated health care needs, including TB testing, flu shots, prescription refill requests, and case management services.

Is this clinic actually free?

Is dental care included?
Usually not, and this is the single most common disappointment. Dental is frequently a separate program with its own eligibility, its own waiting list, and a narrower service list — extractions and urgent pain may be covered while fillings, crowns, root canals, and dentures are not. Confirm that dental is offered at this specific location before travelling.
Can I get a prescription refilled here?
Most clinics require an appointment before they will refill anything, and a first appointment can be weeks out. If you are close to running out of a medication you cannot safely stop, say so when you call — say the medication name and how many days you have left. Ask your pharmacy at the same time; pharmacists can sometimes authorise a short emergency supply.
What if I need care today?
