In the schools, we provide comprehensive pediatric care for children in pre-K through high school and a full range of services for faculty and staff. Our medical personnel provide a family centered approach to improving the health and well-being of children and adults. Research shows that healthy children perform better in the classroom and on-site health centers benefit faculty and staff as well. Chances are you'll visit your child's pediatrician most often during the first year of his or her life for routine visits. However, regular visits to the doctor are necessary at every age. We encourage you to speak with your healthcare provider about what visits are needed at what time in order to maintain optimal health for your child. For busy faculty and staff, school-based health centers provide a convenient means for all acute, preventive and chronic care. For everything from annual well visits, to managing chronic conditions, faculty and staff will have easy access to care they often have to take time off to get. Our staff is specially trained to get you the answers you need to assist with your family's healthcare needs. Our nurses are committed to educating patients about their medical conditions and working with them to reduce their health risks. Our school-based health centers focus on prevention and disease management, in addition to treating acute issues that arise.
