The Coastal Community Health is far from being anything to do with the community! I have tried 3 times to be seen but the FRONT OFFICE always gives me an excuse why they want see me. It is pitiful that we have health care in are community and they want see anyone. I would love to know who is in charge so I could let them know how sorry this COASTSL COMMUNITY HEALTH is. PLEASE SEND SOMEONE TO FIND OUT WHY THEY ARE NOT DOING SERVICES!

In 1994, Phoebe Sumter Medical Center established Phoebe Sumter Ellaville Clinic to give local residents a choice in their own community.

Details: East Cobb Islamic Center (ECIC), a non-profit organization, has a free medical clinic with discounted lab work available to uninsured members of the community. This is an entirely FREE service. **Patients who are uninsured and have low income qualify.**
ECIC is partnering in this effort with the Georgia Volunteer Health Care Program (GVHCP) of the Georgia Department of Public Health to provide this service. Our goal is to support GVHCP's vision of having a healthier and safer Georgia. Please help spread the word to anyone who may need this service.

Details: North Georgia Healthcare Center is a non-profit health care center in Ringgold, Georgia. NGHCC is federally funded by the U.S.D.A. Direct Loan Program funds. The organization will seek sponsorship through private corporations, community, and grants and it will accept Private Insurance, Medicare, Medicaid. NGHCC will offer medical services to North Georgia and surrounding areas seven days a week with extended hours. This service will resolve issues with non-emergency care through emergency room services at local hospitals, thus reducing unnecessary costs. NGHCC will have a non-profit pharmacy to assist with your prescription needs. NGHCC will be providing physical therapy and aquatics courses in our indoor pool. NGHCC recognizes the medical issues in overweight children and adults and will be offering to the community a weight loss and exercise program to promote healthy lifestyle practices. We will establish networking programs with the Catoosa County schools to provide educational services and material in an effort to support national health issues. NGHCC plans to recognize one health related topic every month and offer one-day screenings free of charge to the public in an effort to promote public health awareness and preventive medicine programs.

Details: The Georgia Decatur Farmworker Health Clinic is located in Bainbridge city, Decatur County. The clinic is federally funded through the Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) and the Boards of Health in counties being contracted by DCH to provide primary health care to farmworkers and their families. To qualify for the program a total family annual income of 51% must come from agriculture. The client must provide proof of income and will be charged on a sliding scale basis.
