Community Health Center of Cape Cod functions like any doctor’s office, offering services such as office visits, checkups, screenings and management for your chronic conditions. But we offer so much more - such as dental, vision and behavioral health, family planning and an onsite pharmacy. Our focus is on providing the very best healthcare - the same as you will get an any doctor’s office on Cape Cod - as well providing programs and education that help improve the overall health status of everyone living in our region. We are a non-profit organization that cares for all patients, regardless of your ability to pay or insurance status. And if you don’t have insurance, our experts will provide a free financial screening to determine if you qualify for any public health benefits programs. Those without insurance coverage are expected to make payments for their visits, often based on a sliding scale and determined by the results of your financial screening.

Comment from Displeased: I was diagnosed with HPV by this office, never told the severity, underwent a LEEP procedure, and came in for my followup in the Mashpee office a couple months later, where I was made to feel like an irresponsible, disease ridden w**** who knowledgeably had sex with someone who was sick. Dr Whelden was my "Gynocologist", and she lectured me and talked down to me when I went for the followup. When I get better insurance, I am DEFINITELY going to a different and BETTER medical forum. I am completely displeased by the treatment and the stigma they have so tried to fix me with. I never asked for this. NO ONE does. I did my research about this illness and it is/was the only comfort I have in trying to fight this off. I received no consultations to advise me how to fight it, what my options were, and even how bad it had progressed once the LEEP was done. I think it is disgustingly unprofessional and wholeheartedly awful for those doctors to think it's ok to treat people like that. Dr Whelden only dismissed their ridiculously indirect approach to my condition, which I viewed as dishonest and an almost perpetual malpractise. I have to go for a six month evaluation in July and hope to keep my interaction with these people very brief.
