About this clinic

The Center for Pan Asian Community Services, Inc. (CPACS) received a New Access Point Award through the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) as part of the Affordable Care Act. The award grants CPACS a Federally Qualified Health Center Status and allows the organization to acquire a new location and expand its health services to underserved members of the community, particularly those who are low income, uninsured, and limited English proficient. Through this award, CPACS will combine its existing primary and preventive care clinics and expand its services and hours of operation. CPACS FQHC status is a great compliment to its existing work as a Certified Application Counselor Organization under the Affordable Care Act and enables the organization to ensure all members of the community have access to healthcare both by enrollment in an insurance plan through the Healthcare Exchange and by providing linguistically and culturally competent affordable healthcare to those who remain underserved.

Is this clinic actually free?

Do I need insurance, or immigration documents?

Is dental care included?
Usually not, and this is the single most common disappointment. Dental is frequently a separate program with its own eligibility, its own waiting list, and a narrower service list — extractions and urgent pain may be covered while fillings, crowns, root canals, and dentures are not. Confirm that dental is offered at this specific location before travelling.
Can I get a prescription refilled here?
Most clinics require an appointment before they will refill anything, and a first appointment can be weeks out. If you are close to running out of a medication you cannot safely stop, say so when you call — say the medication name and how many days you have left. Ask your pharmacy at the same time; pharmacists can sometimes authorise a short emergency supply.
What if I need care today?
