Clinic Details:Delta Health Center, Inc. (DHC) is the first community health center of its kind. Also, it’s the first Federally Qualified Community Health Center (FQHC) in the United States. DHC is a non-profit organization that is located in historic Mound Bayou, Mississippi, where it opened its doors in 1965. At Delta Health Center, we continue to build a world class primary health care system committed to caring for vulnerable populations from newborns to the elderly. DHC also support those who want to stay fit and to those with chronic health problems with our main focus being health. We have helped generations of families to live healthy and stay healthy.
Details: Central Mississippi Civic Improvement Association, Inc. (CMCIA), d/b/a Jackson-Hinds Comprehensive Health Center was incorporated in August 1970 as a nonprofit 501c(3) organization to engage in planning and development of comprehensive health services for residents of poor, largely non- White, communities in Jackson, Mississippi and surrounding areas. Jackson Hinds Comprehensive Health Center provides a comprehensive continuum of health and social services to meet the needs of our clients. Jackson Hinds Comprehensive Health Center (JHCHC) is the largest community health center in central Mississippi. Since its inception, JHCHC has grown from a “one-bus-and-Sunday school-classroom” operation to become a multi-site, multi-disciplinary provider of health services in Hinds, Warren, and Copiah counties. Jackson- Hinds one of only two federally qualified health center (FQHC) in the state operating a clinic for the homeless and the only FQHC operating a HUD housing complex for low-income elderly and disabled residents.

Details: The Good Samaritan Medical Clinic of Lowndes County, a nonprofit organization, provides free primary health care, health-related information and referral to the working poor of Lowndes County. Utilizing volunteers, professional and lay resources, The Good Samaritan Clinic's mission is to provide primary medical care in a non-judgmental, Christian atmosphere.

Details: Life Choices Pregnancy Care Center is a non-profit organization that seeks to minister to individuals experiencing an unexpected pregnancy through free pregnancy tests, peer counseling, abstinence education, STD education, post-abortion support, expectant Mom and Dad classes and other practical help in a confidential, Christian environment. Because we know that true lifestyle changes cannot occur apart from new life in Christ, peer counselors earnestly seek to share the Gospel with each person that comes to us for help.

We have been serving the Jackson Metro area for over 30 years and have served over 20,000 women in our community. The CPC is a licensed medical clinic that offers free services and physical support for both mother and child. The CPC is operated with individual, sensitive, and confidential care. Our staff is trained in integrity and procedural professionality. We care passionately about education regarding all the choices a woman who is facing a crisis pregnancy has. We trust women to make informed decisions about their pregnancies when given a full range of accurate information and resources concerning abortion, adoption, and parenting. We walk alongside women, offering hope and compassion from the first pregnancy test to long after birth. Our mission is to protect the most vulnerable in our community and meet women exactly where they are with generosity and gentleness, not judgement. Details: The Antone Tannehill Good Samaritan Free Clinic is a non-profit organization whose mission is to marshal volunteer lay and professional resources to provide high quality medical, dental, and pharmaceutical care at no cost to the eligible working uninsured and temporarily unemployed residents of Lee County Mississippi.
Details: The Jackson Free Clinic (JFC) is run by medical students at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson as well as volunteer physicians from the local community. It offers non-emergency medical care, including evaluation, testing, prescription drugs and education, to individuals who cannot pay. Staffing for our clinic is solely on a volunteer basis. The student-run Jackson Free Clinic was created to increase access to health care and assist in restoring health and employment in an underserved population. We focus on major health care issues affecting under-served individuals by providing high quality and caring treatment and education for prevention of acute and chronic medical conditions. Through our efforts, we strive to decrease the emotional and financial burden on the uninsured and society.
