Details: The Harriet Tubman Women’s Clinic at the Clarkston Community Health Center provides quality care for uninsured and underserved women in a welcoming, safe, and culturally sensitive environment. All services are provided free of charge.
Details: The Mission of the Athens Neighborhood Health Center is to provide affordable, high quality primary healthcare to medically under-served individuals in Athens-Clarke County and surrounding areas. Athens Neighborhood Health Center will make healthcare affordable to all people by assigning uninsured and under-insured persons to a sliding fee scale. The target populations to be served include children living in poverty, the working poor, elderly individuals on fixed incomes, homeless individuals and persons with chronic illnesses.
Details: Georgia Mountains Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center and a FTCA deemed provider of medical, dental and behavioral health services. As a federally funded health center, our primary focus is on patient care. Founded in 1984, FQHC opened their Ellijay office in 2000 shortly after offering their dental services located in Blue Ridge GA in 2002. Chatsworth GA opened their doors in the year 2007. Dalton office opened in 2012 and the Dalton AIM office opened in 2013. Under Section 224 of the Public Health Service Act, as amended by the Federally Supported Health Centers Assistance Act of 1992 and 1995, Georgia Mountains Health Services, Inc. and its employees are deemed to be federal employees qualified for protection under the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA).
Details: East Cobb Islamic Center (ECIC), a non-profit organization, has a free medical clinic with discounted lab work available to uninsured members of the community. This is an entirely FREE service. **Patients who are uninsured and have low income qualify.**
ECIC is partnering in this effort with the Georgia Volunteer Health Care Program (GVHCP) of the Georgia Department of Public Health to provide this service. Our goal is to support GVHCP's vision of having a healthier and safer Georgia. Please help spread the word to anyone who may need this service.
