About this clinic

Our Emerald clinic is located across Raymond Street from our Raymond clinic. We opened this site September 2010 and relocated in July 2016 to the current location. We are a smaller satellite clinic with 14 exam rooms. Currently, the Emerald clinic houses Family Medicine clinics as well as a variety of specialty clinics. We take care of all types of patients and patients who speak a variety of different languages. Our specialty clinics currently include our Wellness Center (concentrating in HIV and PrEP care), Transgender Care, Refugee Screening Clinic, Idaho Health District TB Clinic, and Hepatitis C Clinic. We have 4 resident physicians working in our family practice clinics since 2013. Resident physicians have completed medical school and are getting an extra 3 years of training in Family Medicine. Resident and Fellow physicians have supervision by our faculty Family Medicine physicians, who also see their own patients here. Additionally, we usually have a primary care HIV fellow getting an additional year of training after residency in HIV and Hepatitis care. Emerald Clinic also houses our pharmacy, which opened summer 2013, billing, scheduling, medical records and ancillary administrative services that are housed just across the waiting room from the clinic space.
