  • Clinic Details: Typically, homeless individuals do not have access to regular health care. That means two things: they develop health problems that become compounded by years of neglect, and their health problems help keep them homeless. HealthFirst Bluegrass medical staff treats clients at the Hyde Hope Health Clinic and also has a full-time nurse practitioner who treats clients at the Women’s Recovery Center. Health Clinic nurses treat clients and also educate them on health care issues thereby helping to prevent other health problems in the future. The Dr. Gordon Hyde Hope Health Clinic is newly renovated and now offers dental appointments onsite as well. All treatment is provided by HealthFirst of the Bluegrass. The Hope Center also has a close partnership with the Fayette County Health Department and University of Kentucky Healthcare.
