About this clinic

Mid-City Community Clinic Pediatrics opened its doors in October, 2003 and delivers medical and mental health care to thousands of children in the City Heights community. The clinic facility includes eleven exam rooms, treatment rooms, offers well child care, pediatric and adolescent medicine, urgent care, literacy education, asthma care, health education, developmental and behavioral pediatrics and immunizations. The facility is co-located with other agencies that offer additional services such as: Dental Care (by La Maestra Family Health Center) and after hours Urgent Care (by Rady Children’s Hospital).The clinic is linked closely to community agencies and public schools. Mid-City Community Clinic Pediatrics also has two school-based health centers located at Rosa Parks Elementary and Central Elementary, which offer the same services as our clinic on University. Medical and mental health care are offered with translation, including Spanish, Vietnamese, German, Farsi, and others. All physicians and nurse practitioners are licensed, and Board certified. Their certifications are in Family Medicine, Preventive Medicine, Allergy Immunology, Pediatrics and Psychiatry.
