Dental

Services described in the directory record: WIC is a Nutritional Based service that provides education, healthy wholesome food, breastfeeding support, and is a caring community connecting families to local services. WIC Services are for individuals who are pregnant, up to six months post-partum, providing their human milk to a WIC- enrolled infant up to 12 months old and children under the age of 5. Families are eligible for WIC if they have income up to 185% of the federal poverty level or are enrolled in foster care, Kinship Care, or Food Share. Is this clinic actually free?

Is dental care included?
Usually not, and this is the single most common disappointment. Dental is frequently a separate program with its own eligibility, its own waiting list, and a narrower service list — extractions and urgent pain may be covered while fillings, crowns, root canals, and dentures are not. Confirm that dental is offered at this specific location before travelling.
Can I get a prescription refilled here?
Most clinics require an appointment before they will refill anything, and a first appointment can be weeks out. If you are close to running out of a medication you cannot safely stop, say so when you call — say the medication name and how many days you have left. Ask your pharmacy at the same time; pharmacists can sometimes authorise a short emergency supply.
What if I need care today?
