Clinic Details:Northeastern Rural Health Clinics (NRHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) governed by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of people in our community. NRHC is the largest provider of outpatient care to Lassen County, the health center is housed in a 27,000 square foot facility in Susanville, California. The facility was built in 2005 and includes seven medical suites, a dental clinic, a retail pharmacy, classrooms, and a staff of 90+ employees. NRHC employs Family Practice Physicians, an OB/GYN Physician, Certified Physician Assistants, Family Nurse Practitioners, and Dentists. Ancillary providers include a Registered Dental Hygienist, Health Educator, Childbirth Educator and Case Manager. Our services include primary care, obstetrics, urgent care, occupational medicine, dental services, health/nutrition/childbirth education, and Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program services. Northeastern Health Center is located in Susanville, California, next door to Banner Lassen Medical Center. We currently provide over 50,000 patient visits per year with an annual budget of $9 million. We are assisted by grant funding through the US Public Health Service and are a non-profit (501c3) organization. In addition Northeastern is a Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) deemed facility.
