Details: Conveniently located right on Main Street in West Haven, this care site offers a host of both medical and mental health services. Services including internal medicine and substance abuse treatment ensure that West Haven residents as well as anyone seeking care there will have all of their healthcare needs met.
Details: The Community Health Center, Inc. is pleased to offer school-based health services in your child’s school during the school day. Licensed healthcare providers are available to provide expanded medical (treatment for illnesses or injuries, and physicals), behavioral health (individual, group, and family therapy), and dental hygiene (exams, cleanings, and sealants) services. Dental restorative services (fillings, pulpotomys, root canals, removal of baby teeth, stainless steel crowns, local anesthesia, mouth prop, treatment of crooked teeth) may also be provided. School-based health services work in conjunction with the care provided by your child’s pediatrician and/or dentist and are not intended to replace regular care by your child’s primary health-care provider.
Details: Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center is a federally qualified community health center established in 1968 in a collaboration between the community and Yale School of Medicine. The first community health center in Connecticut, the Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center has a long history of serving New Haven neighborhoods, which are among the most disadvantaged in the State. Details: Grant Street Partnership is a treatment facility for male and female adults with substance use disorders. Temporary housing is available for homeless men while engaged in treatment. Clients are provided with transportation and three substantial meals a day. Services of this program include Twelve-Step Education/AA and NA meetings, housing assistance, individual/group therapy, life skills training, job readiness, HIV counseling, GED classes and primary healthcare and referrals. Psychiatric evaluation and medication management are available for clients who need treatment for mental health disorders.
