About this clinic

Q Clinic provides free primary care to anyone who walks in our door and is tailored to serve the needs of the LGBTQ+ community. We are a student-run free clinic established in October 2015 by medical students and faculty at Columbia University Medical Center. Many people face discrimination within healthcare, or have to teach their doctors about the experiences they have and the language they use to talk about their body. Our clinic offers an alternate space to receive quality care in a safe, respectful, and more casual setting. Our trained team of medical students and doctors want to learn from you and partner with you to improve your health. By receiving care from Q Clinic, you are contributing to the education of a new generation of compassionate and competent health care providers. Q Clinic is located at 446 West 36th Street, 3rd Floor, in a partnership with Metropolitan Community Church of New York. Our walk-in hours are every Wednesday 6:00 PM – 7:30 pm. You can also call/text in advance at (347) 565-5042 or by e-mail at [email protected]. No ID, insurance, or payment method is required to receive care at Q Clinic. All care is confidential.
