About this clinic

At our Arthur location, we provide Family Medicine, Adult Health and Women’s Health services, as well as Pediatrics and Geriatric Care. Our center is based in the largest Amish settlement in the state of Illinois. A majority of our patients are Amish. They typically do not carry commercial insurance, and horse and buggy is their main form of transportation. This can make access to healthcare extremely difficult for them. However, with our location, we have the opportunity to provide care for these individuals who have been underserved in the past. We have an easily accessible location, which allows our patients to travel with their horse and buggy. With our Prompt Pay and Sliding Scale payment options, our patients are able to receive care regardless of their ability to pay, which is a huge relief for large families. Arthur is a safe, small community that offers such a unique, welcoming atmosphere. When you enter the town, you will see a sign that reads, “You are only a stranger once.” That couldn’t be more true.
