    • Details: Samaritan Health Clinic of Pickens County is a ministry supported by churches, United Way, civic organizations, Baptist Easley Hospital, Best Chance, Pickens County, grants, and corporate donations. Many volunteer physicians, dentists, nurses, and specialists throughout Pickens County give additional support. Volunteer activity is encouraged. This brings the community and the patients close together in God's love. Samaritan Health Clinic of Pickens County provides free medical and dental care to residents of Pickens County who are not eligible for Medicaid, Medicare or private health insurance and who have a limited income. The pharmacy provides life-sustaining medications. We do not stock any controlled substances. A GYN Clinic is held Thursday mornings each week. Women receive free pap smears, breast exams and mammograms. The clinic is supported by the Best Chance Network. Samaritan Health Clinic seeks to minister to the needs of our patients through our services and referrals to local organizations. Everyone is served regardless of race, religion, creed, gender, or natural origin. We provide medical care through a staff physician, nurse, pharmacist, pharmacy technicians, and receptionist. Spiritual counseling is provided by local church and faith-based organizations. Health education programs and screenings promote and encourage healthy lifestyles.
