Clinic Details:NEW Health, incorporated in 1978, is a private 501(c)(3) non-profit, FQHC (Federally Qualified Heath Center) with a long-standing commitment to serving our patients locally and with a community voice. Governed by patient majority, local community members and community business leaders, ensures that the needs of the community are met. Today, NEW Health operates seven (7) Community Medical Clinics and three (3) Community Dental Clinics, serving Stevens, Ferry and Pend Oreille counties. NEW Health provides primary medical, dental, pharmacy and behavioral health services to the Tri-county region, NEW Health is NCQA, Patient Centered Medical Home recognized. This designation is patient-centered with a focus on quality care and patient satisfaction. NEW Health continues to ensure access to all, with convenient locations and sliding discount program. All residents in our service area deserve affordable healthcare that is provided ethically and with respect. NEW Health is a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b, and a deemed Public Health Service employee under 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n). This health center receives HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.
