Clinic Details:The Gerald L. Ignace Indian Health Center (GLIIHC) grew out of an awareness in the 1970s of the poor health of Milwaukee’s Native American community. Since its inception, GLIIHC has tripled in size and besides the medical clinic, houses a pharmacy, dental clinic, behavioral health center and a fitness center that is used by our physical therapist. We provide comprehensive and culturally sensitive health care for the whole family. Tradition reminds us that in order to heal, every part of a human being must be addressed: The mind, body, spirit, and emotions. Our team strives to improve the essential health, peace and well-being of those that reside in the metropolitan Milwaukee area. Your treatment encompasses the whole family, including the community. Located in the heart of Milwaukee’s near South Side, at 930 W. Historic Mitchell St., your urban Indian health center’s medical, wellness, cultural, spiritual and social services are available for people of all tribes, races, and ethnicities.
Details: The Bread of Healing Clinic is a free medical clinic designed to serve low-income people who experience barriers to accessing ongoing health care. We are a unique faith-based collaboration that directly addresses a crucial human need.

Details: The PCCCF Free Medical Clinic (FMC) is open every 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month. It has provided medical care for around 3,733 under and uninsured people who have visited the Clinic close to 16,755 times since October of 2000. Free medical services have amounted to $3,806,320 up to 2020, including medication and laboratory services which were calculated and added only starting in 2010.

Walker’s Point Community Clinic is the largest free clinic in Wisconsin and has been caring for people who are low income, immigrants, refugees and underserved in the Milwaukee community for more than 25 years. We specialize in providing multilingual, culturally sensitive care. We provide care if you do not have health insurance and face barriers to accessing care. Services include urgent, primary, preventive, specialty and mental health care. We request and greatly appreciate small donations toward the cost of your care, but we will never turn you away if you are unable to contribute. Same-day and next-day appointments are available.
Details: Since 1999, Progressive Community Health Centers has provided high quality, comprehensive health care and social services to patients of all ages and incomes for Milwaukee area residents. An independent non-profit organization, Progressive CHC operates four locations with over 100 full-time employees and serves nearly 15,000 patients annually-a majority who are low income. We meet people where they live, work, learn, and play through proactive social services screening in our clinics, specialized diabetes and asthma programming, obesity intervention and prevention, and environmental programming to create resident-directed impact in the built and natural environment where our patients live, work, learn, and play. Through full-service bilingual clinics, a behavioral health clinic, a satellite geriatric clinic, and six in-school clinics, Sixteenth Street cares for nearly 43,000 primarily low-income, Latino or diverse individuals each year. Details: St. Ben's Clinic is sponsored by Columbia St. Mary's Ascension Health and is a ministry of the Capuchin Franciscan Friars and St. Benedict the Moor Parish. St. Ben's Clinic's nurse practitioner-managed services aim to provide respectful and comprehensive health care to all our clients. St. Ben's Clinic is staffed by nurse practitioners, social workers, registered nurses, volunteer doctors and volunteer receptionists. Our outreach programs are conducted by registered nurses and social work staff.
