Mission: To improve the health of every individual in the health center’s community while providing this care in a culturally sensitive, professional and compassionate manner with special emphasis on reaching homeless and the medically under-served population in Lewis and surrounding counties in Tennessee; by providing (1) preventive and primary health care services to such population in a manner which will best meet their needs and regardless of the ability of an individual or family to pay or their insurance status; (2) other critical community and social services including, but not limited to, health education, community outreach, environmental and nutritional services, mental health services, and substance abuse prevention and treatment programs; (3) and by treating every individual with respect.

<p>I usually have no problems when I come in. I do however get annoyed when I have an appointment at a certain time, ask how much longer it's going to be, and get attitude. Walk ins should not take priority over people who make appointments. They should be squeezed in around appointments. When I made my appointment they said they were packed the entire day except for the time I booked. Now I am told they had several walk ins and they are running behind. I could have simply just walked in and been seen earlier.&nbsp;</p>
