LifeLong Medical Care - Over 60 Health Center - Berkeley Community Health Center

  • 3260 Sacramento St
  • Berkeley CA, 94702
  • Contact Phone: (510) 981-4100
  • Clinic Details: Think of Over 60 as LifeLong’s “flagship” health center. Over 60 was the brainchild of the Gray Panthers, who in 1976 created a clinic in Berkeley that would fill the unmet need for healthcare for low-income senior citizens. It would be 20 years before Over 60 would merge with Berkeley Primary Care Access Clinic to form LifeLong Medical Care. Today, Over 60 has 2,280 patients on its roster, with about 500+ of them transferring from Ashby Health Center, which closes its doors in February.

We treat children from infancy into early adulthood. We perform a variety of dental services including prevention and restoration as well as minor oral surgical procedures. For patients with physical or mental limitations, who cannot be safely treated in an office setting, we provide dental care under general anesthetic in UCSF Children’s Hospital Oakland’s operating room. Our priority is to treat patients who cannot be treated elsewhere, and to provide routine care to children from our local community.
