Clinic Details:Our School-Based Health Centers provide age-appropriate comprehensive medical, health education, and youth development services to youth during and after school hours. Our services are aimed at helping students come to school ready to learn and exceed at school. Clinics are open to all students, regardless of income or healthcare coverage.

Details: Since 2003 La Clínica Dental at Children's Hospital has been providing high quality dental services to children of Alameda County and surrounding areas. We are one of the few pediatric dental health centers in Northern California to offer dental care to children with special needs including medical issues, developmental challenges, and more. We treat children from infancy into early adulthood. We perform a variety of dental services including prevention and restoration as well as minor oral surgical procedures. For patients with physical or mental limitations, who cannot be safely treated in an office setting, we provide dental care under general anesthetic in Children's Hospital operating room. Our priority is to treat patient who cannot be treated elsewhere, and to provide routine care to children from our local community.

Details: Teen and young adult health is the focus of the Adolescent Medicine. Our team looks at each teen and young adult as an individual and considers every aspect of their lives in order to address their unique medical and mental health issues. Board certified physicians, psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, nurses, and specialists in health education and substance abuse provide primary and specialty care for youth, teenagers, and young adults ages 11-24. UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland is a leader in providing adolescent medicine community-wide. We have three community health centers dedicated to providing comprehensive care, each of which serves as a national model for adolescent healthcare.
Details: Since 2000, we have been providing high quality, youth-friendly services that include medical care, reproductive health, sports physicals, immunizations and management of acute and chronic conditions to Oakland Technical High School students. We also serve students enrolled at nearby Oakland International High School and recent graduates from both schools up to the age of 21. In addition, we provide individual and group counseling, and case management services. Patients are seen by a clinical health educator who conducts one-on-one appointments that cover issues such as sexual health, birth control, and nutrition. The health educator conducts classroom presentations and coordinates a Peer Health Education Group and helps students develop presentation and leadership skills. We are passionate about improving the health and wellness of the students in our school community.
Details: The West Oakland Health Council is a non-profit Community Health Center providing primary care, mental health, and substance abuse recovery services to residents of West, North and East Oakland, Emeryville and Southwest Berkeley. Its mission is to improve the health and well-being of residents of these communities and to reduce morbidity, preventable disability and premature death.
Details: Mobile Health provides urgent care, brief social work assessments, and referrals to community resources while visiting shelters, meal programs, and other accessible locations in the community. Staff from Alameda Health System and Health Care for the Homeless include a medical provider, medical assistant, social worker, registration clerk, and van driver who work together to provide friendly and accessible care to those who need it most, as well as linkages to ongoing primary care at Alameda Health System or other community clinics.
