Maria de los Santos Women’s Health Center (MDLS WHC) opened in April, 2018 to accommodate the growing need for OB/GYN services in the area. This 5,700 square foot facility is located across the street from Maria de los Santos Health Center, with state-of-the-art equipment and expanded services to better serve the women of North Philadelphia.

The reviews here are just so discouraging, I read so many discouraging reviews but decided to ignore and give it a try and to my surprise I was not wrong.
From the man that opens up the clinic to the receptionists and to everyone that might attend to you is just so humble and lovely.
Even being late on my second visit the welcome and approach was same.

Is this clinic actually free?

What should I bring to a first visit?
Usually a photo ID, something showing your address, proof of income or a self-declaration, your insurance or Medicaid card if you have one, and a written list of your current medications and doses. Call ahead — requirements vary, and arriving without the right paperwork is the most common reason a first visit gets rescheduled.
Do I need insurance, or immigration documents?
Federally funded health centers serve patients regardless of insurance status and do not require proof of citizenship to provide care. Volunteer and charitable clinics set their own rules. If it matters to you, ask before your visit what they require and what they record.
Is dental care included?
Usually not, and this is the single most common disappointment. Dental is frequently a separate program with its own eligibility, its own waiting list, and a narrower service list — extractions and urgent pain may be covered while fillings, crowns, root canals, and dentures are not. Confirm that dental is offered at this specific location before travelling.
Can I get a prescription refilled here?
Most clinics require an appointment before they will refill anything, and a first appointment can be weeks out. If you are close to running out of a medication you cannot safely stop, say so when you call — say the medication name and how many days you have left. Ask your pharmacy at the same time; pharmacists can sometimes authorise a short emergency supply.
What if I need care today?
