About this clinic

Mercy & Truth Medical Missions began in 1995. During a medical missions outreach Cathy Gordon and Heather Jones felt called to begin a medical missions organization in Kansas City. The idea of going out into the world demonstrating God’s love for people, reaching out and serving the poorest of the poor through the delivery of health care seemed unreachable. With prayer and guidance, this vision developed into a reality and Mercy & Truth Medical Missions was born. It is our mission to provide healthcare to the underserved and uninsured of our community and world through Christian Service. It is our mission to see that everyone in need of healthcare receives the treatment he or she is entitled to regardless of age, race, belief, ethnicity, income level or insurance status.
