About this clinic

The “El Nuevo” in El Nuevo San Juan Health Center distinguishes the building from our original site, The San Juan Health Center, now affectionately known as “El Viejo San Juan.” Considered the heart of our clinical operations, El Nuevo San Juan Health Center houses 16 departments offering medical, diagnostic and ancillary services. Since it opened in 2001, El Nuevo San Juan serves as the home base for our network of satellite clinics in the South Bronx and Queens. Its central location, convenient seven- days-a-week schedule, comprehensive primary and specialty services and a bilingual, culturally competent staff, (most of whom live in the neighborhood) make it a vital community health resource.
