Accessible and affordable health care right in the neighborhood - that’s what Plaza del Castillo means to South Bronx residents. The health center is easily accessible by the 2 or 5 trains at Freeman Street. Most insurances are accepted. Since 2000, the center has been a valuable and trusted community health resource. Residents enjoy the convenience of its central location, as well as its flexible hours (open six days a week). Plaza del Castillo offers a range of comprehensive primary and specialty services in a culturally sensitive, compassionate environment along with a bilingual staff. WIC services are also available on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 10 am – 4 pm. It’s comforting to know that, at Plaza del Castillo Health Center, quality health care is just around the corner.
